Domestic Inquiry
Domestic Inquiry are an important process in organizational management, especially to address violations of the code of conduct, employee misconduct, internal fraud, or violations of company laws and regulations. In the context of Malaysian law, a domestic inquiry conducted in a transparent, fair and professional manner is the basis for disciplinary action, including civil or criminal prosecution, depending on the nature of the offense.
This workshop is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to human resources officers, administrative officers, internal investigation officers and management on how internal investigations are conducted legally and ethically, as well as its relationship to the prosecution process.
Learning Outcomes
This workshop aims to:
•To increase participants' understanding of the principles of natural justice in the implementation of domestic inquiry process.
•Build competence in conducting domestic inquiry that can withstand legal challenges.
•Provide a basis for making decisions based on facts and valid evidence in an investigation.
•Provide exposure to participants regarding prosecution proceedings that may occur after domestic inquiry, as well as relationships with enforcement agencies.
