AI-Ready Leadership Skills for Managers and Leaders
Most managers in Malaysia have heard about AI. Many have a company memo about it. Very few have had the space to examine what it actually means for how they lead. This programme fills that gap. It doesn't ask participants to become AI specialists. It asks them to become leaders who understand what AI changes about decision-making, team dynamics, and organisational performance and who are honest about the habits and assumptions that may slow them down.
The two days are designed for a mixed cohort: varying roles, seniority levels, and degrees of AI familiarity. Everything is built in-room. No pre-work required. Participants leave with a written commitment to one change they will make the following week
Learning Outcomes
By the end of Day 2, participants will be able to:
? Identify their current mindset profile and describe at least one assumption that may limit their effectiveness as AI becomes more present in their organisation.
? Distinguish between what AI systems do well and where human judgement remains irreplaceable.
? Apply a leadership lens to evaluate an AI-related decision drawn from a Malaysian organisational context.
? Practise communication approaches that reduce team resistance when new AI tools or processes are introduced.
? Construct a useful prompt for a generative AI tool and critically evaluate the output.
? Identify which decisions in their current role are strong candidates for AI-assisted support.
? Name at least two manager behaviours that build AI readiness at the team level.
