AI and Digital Productivity

AI Led Problem Solving & Decision Making

Most managers already have strong problem-solving instincts. What they lack is a structured method to run that thinking at speed, with the quality of analysis that decisions today actually require. AI changes the equation. Paired with classical frameworks such as the 6-step problem-solving method and 5 Whys, AI tools can compress research cycles, stress-test assumptions, generate alternatives that groupthink would miss, and turn a raw data table into a decision-ready brief in minutes. But the manager still decides. That accountability does not transfer to the machine.
This two-day programme gives executives and middle managers the working knowledge to use AI as a genuine thinking partner, not a shortcut that creates new risks. Participants work through structured problem-solving models augmented by AI at every stage: diagnosis, root cause analysis, prioritisation, scenario planning, reporting, and implementation. A Fictional Company as a simulation provides the case backbone throughout both days. Participants play its C-suite, and every tool, framework, and AI prompt is applied to a problem that compounds in complexity as the programme progresses. What they build in the room is directly portable to Monday morning.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of Day 2, participants will be able to:
? Identify their personal AI literacy profile and describe at least one specific context at work where a gap is limiting their communication effectiveness.
? Integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Agentic AI) into classical problem-solving models including the 6-step method and 5 Whys
? Conduct root cause analysis and strategic prioritisation using AI-generated insights
? Design basic AI agents to automate routine managerial decisions and workflow coordination
? Evaluate AI recommendations for bias, ethical concerns, and data privacy (PDPA/GDPR)
