Xenna Sum is the founder and principal consultant of SafeHaus Consultancy, a consultancy and training firm focuses on elevating occupational safety and health (OSH) leadership, risk management, and communication across high-risk industries. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in safety and health management throughout Asia, she is recognised for shifting organisations from reactive compliance to strategic, data-driven safety cultures.
Her work has always championed the human factor in safety—leadership, decision-making, communication, and culture. In recent years, she has bridged that human-centric approach with cutting-edge technological innovation, becoming one of the region’s key advocates for the application of artificial intelligence in OSH risk management.
