"Getting It Right" - The Conduct and Proceedings For A Domestic Inquiry

The readiness for holding a Domestic Inquiry is very important for grave misconduct cases where it may lead to termination / dismissal of an employee/s. The process involves investigation, instituting the disciplinary procedures, appointment of panel members and meting-out the appropriate punishment. The action taken by the Company must be able to pass the acid test at the Labor Department or Industrial Court to avoid huge monetary compensation.
This workshop provides a very comprehensive and elaborate “know how” for the parties involved (i.e Investigation Officer, HR, Panel Members, Presenting Officer) in the execution of a Domestic Inquiry from establishing a “prima facie” case up to meting-out punishment.
In addition, the workshop also provides insights on a number of case scenario leading to a Domestic Inquiry and eventualities during the proceedings.
